Artist's Statement

Develop your child’s artistic creativity and love for nature in a secure, outdoor environment overlooking the Uxbridge Countryside Preserve.

Each summer class starts with a short walk (under the supervision of 2 adults) on the Preserve trails, followed by art sessions where the children express their observations in the exciting mediums of acrylic paints, collage and sculpture.

Classes are small (maximum 5 children) ages 6 to 8 or 9 to 11 and run for full days or half days during June, July and August.

Instruction is provided by accredited local Uxbridge artist Shelly Burke, with a degree in Art History as well as up to date CPR certification.

Fees are $50.00 per day - $30.00 per half day
1 week workshops (4 days) and private lessons are also available.
Birthday party events can also be arranged.
All classes include healthy drinks, peanut free snacks and artist materials.
Inclement weather classes are held inside the studio.
